New one was fitted Monday.

Now everything works as it should. Evidently it was condensation forming inside through a badly fitting case. The new panel seems to have a better sealed case. The condensation on the inside was affecting the chip/computer/processor or whatever to execute settings properly.

Thankfully the heating/aircon is vastly improved and can't complain at all about that now, the screen hasn't steamed up since Monday, and everything seems much more responsive. It even skips through folders much faster. Not lightening fast, but faster than it was.

My replacement has not given any issues this Winter.

That's good to know. I wondered if they'd found why the panels steam up and rectified it or just fitted replacements. Seems they've sorted that particular problem.

Probably due to sealing of the unit.

If you don't fully seal the unit then the air inside the unit will condense against the cold screen face as the electricalgubbins warms up.
